Teachers with special certificates will receive additional pay

The Center for Pedagogical Mastery and the Agency of International Evaluation under the Presidential Agency for Educational Institutions (PAEI) has been renamed the Research Center for Pedagogical Mastery and International Evaluation (Center). This is stated in the decree of the President of Uzbekistan on 14 April « On expansion of the network of specialized schools in the system of the Presidential Agency for Educational Institutions ».

The center assesses the level of knowledge and professional skills of teachers in general, secondary specialized and vocational schools.
Evaluation of teachers' knowledge and skills will be carried out on a contractual basis for all applicants by the center.

Based on the results of the assessment, certificates of the level «Advanced teacher», «Master-teacher» and «Professional teacher» will be issued for a period of 2 years. The following additional amounts will be paid to teachers who have received these certificates:

- Teachers with the level of “Advanced Level” at a rate of 50% per month relative to their base rate;
- Teachers who have received the level of “Master Teacher” at a rate of 70% per month relative to their base rate;
- 100% per month for teachers who have received a certificate «Professional Teacher».

Teachers who have received these certificates will be employed by the Agency’s educational institutions regardless of their qualifications.
