Ministry of culture justifies Nazarbekov's actions

27887Earlier, an advertisement for a clothing store featuring the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the People's Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, was circulated on social networks. Against the backdrop of this situation, the Ministry of Culture also issued a response.
According to the Ministry's statement, Minister Ozodbek Nazarbekov, as a member of the jury of the "Voice" project, visited a clothing store and selected an outfit with the project's image consultants to participate in the filming of an upcoming episode.
"As mentioned in the video, Ozodbek Nazarbekov expressed his personal opinions and made recommendations for the development of the national brand during the process of choosing a dress. The intention is to support local manufacturers who have successfully established their operations due to the favorable business environment in our country and strive to produce quality products that are not inferior to foreign ones. In other words, Ozodbek Nazarbekov has no material interest or profit from this advertisement," the statement reads.
Additionally, in the official statement from the Ministry, it was emphasized that Ozodbek Nazarbekov, as the Minister of Culture, People's Artist of Uzbekistan, and a civil servant, respects and strictly adheres to all the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
According to our information, the store advertised by the minister is one of the sponsors of the "Voice" project led by Nazarbekov. Previously, the minister also promoted one of the banks through this TV show.
