In Tashkent, measures were taken against the mother of a minor who drew graffiti inviting people to buy and sell drugs. This was reported by the city's Main Department of Internal Affairs.

It is noted that on January 15, at approximately 22:45, a black inscription on the back wall of one of the shops in Yunusabad district attracted the attention of employees involved in the investigation. As a result, it was revealed that the graffiti was written by A.D., born in 2004, and A.A., born in 2005. Two paint cans were found with them and were registered as material evidence in the presence of witnesses. During the initial investigation, they discovered a group on social media that offered payment for drawing graffiti messages promoting the sale and purchase of drugs, with each message earning them a certain amount of money on a plastic card.

Based on the documents collected in this case, records were drawn up under Article 56, Part 4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (Production, distribution, advertising, demonstration of products promoting drugs, their analogues, or psychotropic substances) and were sent to the Yunusabad District Court for legal action.

The court sentenced them to 5 days of administrative detention.

It was also found that a similar illegal act was committed by a minor, G.D., in other areas of Yunusabad District. G.D., who was detained with material evidence, was considered a schoolchild, and documents were filed against his mother under Article 47 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (Failure to fulfill obligations in the upbringing and education of children). Appropriate measures were taken.

It should be recalled that earlier it was reported that 3,447 criminal cases were initiated in the capital during 2024 for crimes related to the illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and strong drugs. Of these, 2,413 crimes, or 70 percent, were committed in connection with the internet. As a result of the measures, 238 kg 815 grams of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and strong drugs were seized, and their illegal trafficking was stopped.
