Los Angeles 2028: Boxing weight classes revealed

The boxing weight categories for the 2028 Summer Olympic Games, which will be hosted in Los Angeles, USA, have been announced. This was reported by the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan (NOC).
At the XXXIV Summer Olympic Games, both women and men will compete for medals in seven weight categories.
For men, the weight categories are as follows:
- 55 kg, 60 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg, 80 kg, 90 kg, +90 kg.
For women, the weight categories are:
- 51 kg, 54 kg, 57 kg, 60 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg, +80 kg.
It is worth noting that earlier, the number of teams participating in the football tournament of the upcoming Olympic Games was also announced.
