Lola Karimova visits her father's grave in Uzbekistan

16805Lola Karimova-Tillayeva, the youngest daughter of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov, has returned to Uzbekistan to visit her father's grave. She announced this on her Instagram page.
Lola Karimova-Tillayeva traveled to Samarkand, where she visited the Hazrat Hizr complex and the mausoleum of Islam Karimov.
She is currently in Samarkand, as evidenced by the stories posted on her Instagram page. Lola Karimova-Tillayeva shared videos showing her having breakfast in the yard where her father lived and visiting the Registan complex.
It should be noted that after her father's death, Lola Karimova-Tillayeva moved to the USA with her husband Timur Tillyayev, and their children. She remotely manages the Republican Charitable Public Fund named after Islam Karimov and founded the brand "The Harmonist" in the USA.
For information, Islam Karimov passed away on September 2, 2016, at the age of 78 due to a serious illness. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev declared this date as a day of commemoration for Islam Karimov. By the President's decision on January 25, 2017, efforts were made to perpetuate the memory of the First President, with major complexes and central streets in the country named after him. A scientific and educational memorial complex named after Islam Karimov was established in Tashkent, and a mausoleum was built in Samarkand.
We remind you that during his visit to Samarkand on August 26, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Hazrat Hizr complex and laid flowers at the mausoleum of Islam Karimov. Quranic verses were recited and prayers were offered. Today, the former First Lady of Uzbekistan, Tatyana Karimova, also visited and laid flowers on the grave of Islam Karimov. Additionally, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Tatyana Karimova, representatives of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Presidential Administration, the Cabinet of Ministers, ministries and agencies, and the public laid flowers at the statue of the First President in Tashkent.
