3910The State Commission has announced an extension for the payment and admission formalities for undergraduate and graduate students at higher education institutions for the 2024/2025 academic year. The new deadline is now set for December 1, 2024, as reported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation.
This extension applies to the following groups of undergraduate and graduate students:
- Applicants opting to study under a basic or differentiated fee-contract (stage 1)
- Applicants eligible for additional admission quotas allocated to youth from Karakalpakstan under Decree No. PF-213 (dated August 31, 2022) (stage 1)
- Students transferring, reinstating, or continuing their studies
Details of the payment requirements are as follows:
- Applicants accepted under the basic fee-contract must pay at least 25% of the annual tuition fee.
- Those opting for a differentiated (super) fee-contract must pay at least 50% of the designated annual tuition fee.
For reference, according to current regulations, the head of each higher education institution may extend the payment period for students in the second and subsequent stages.
