7118Additional procedures for the super-contract have been established in Uzbekistan, as reported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation.
According to the State Commission's statement, applicants who participated in the competition based on the results of the entrance exams and were recommended for a studentship on the basis of a state grant or fee-contract in one of the second-to-fifth bachelor’s educational fields may, upon request, study in the first bachelor’s educational field of their choice on a differentiated fee-contract basis.
In this case, the applicant's score must be lower than the passing score required for a fee-contract in the first field of study.
The calculation of the contract amount is based on the minimum amounts of the differentiated fee-contract value approved by the State Commission.
Additionally, applicants who were not recommended for study in any of their chosen fields may study on a differentiated fee-contract basis in one of the fields they selected during registration.
Admission to higher education institutions will be conducted according to the results of the tests for the first bachelor’s educational field, based on the applicants' scores and in strict order of their scores.
For information, applicants who have paid at least 50 percent of the one-year tuition fee for the super-contract will be accepted as students. As an exception, a 10 percent discount will be provided to applicants who pay the full (100 percent) super-contract fee by October 15, 2024. The fixed super-contract amount for all fields can be found here.
Please note that online acceptance of applications for super-contracts and the awarding of contracts has already begun at state enterprises in Uzbekistan.
