Large fire erupts on Mount Kichik Chimyan in Tashkent region (video)

A large fire broke out on Mount Kichik Chimyan in the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region on July 10. The incident was reported by the regional Emergency Situations Department.

According to the report, at 19:32 the Tashkent Region Department of Emergency Situations received information about a fire involving dry grass and brushwood on Mount Kichik Chimyan, which is part of the Burchmulla forest enterprise. Fire and rescue teams arrived at the scene at 19:38, contained the fire by 19:55, and fully extinguished it by 20:25.

The fire did not affect any recreational areas or residential buildings. Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are currently under investigation.

It is worth noting that a similar incident involving dry grass recently occurred in the Tahtaqoracha Pass in the Kitab district of the Kashkadarya region.
