A farm that illegally used gas worth 3.3 billion soums was found in Khorezm

A farm in the Urganch district of Khorezm region was uncovered for illicitly consuming natural gas valued at 3.3 billion soums. The discovery was made by the Department of Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office.
During the investigation, it was revealed that A.E., the head of farm "M" in Urganch district, had illicitly connected 11 heating boilers in the farm building directly to the gas network for commercial purposes, resulting in the illegal use of natural gas worth 3.3 billion soums.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 169 of the Criminal Code (theft), and the investigation is ongoing.
It's worth noting that previously in Surkhandarya, the head of the gas supply department of "Termizshahargaz" was arrested for soliciting 700 US dollars from a businessman in exchange for permission to connect to the gas network.
