A person selling coins from the Khiva Khanate and Bukhara Emirate period was apprehended in Urganch city of Khorezm region. This was reported by the Regional Department of Internal Affairs.

It was reported that on February 13 of this year, a resident of Urganch district, born in 1963, Q.B., was apprehended while selling 2 coins from the period of the Khiva Khanate and 1 coin from the period of the Bukhara Emirate to an acquaintance for 5000 US dollars.

Subsequently, when the suspect's house was inspected with the participation of impartial individuals, it was found that he possessed ancient artifacts, which were duly registered.

Currently, investigative efforts are underway regarding this situation.

We remind you that last month, individuals were apprehended for selling a gold coin from the end of the 19th century for 100,000 US dollars.
