Violations of the law were discovered in a state procurement worth 403 million sums, intended for the purchase of necessary products for repairing the heating system, under the directive of the Ohangaron City Vocational School in August this year. Sherzod Saparov, the press secretary of the Anti-Corruption Agency, provided this information.

According to the procurement commission's report, "Global Trade Stroy Servic" LLC was declared the winner of the competition, with "Azod Zavgli Baraka" LLC named as the reserve winner out of the five participants.

However, investigations revealed that legal violations occurred during the evaluation process, contradicting the requirements of Article 32 (Rules related to evaluation criteria and procedures) and Article 61 (Conducting selection) of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On State Procurement."

"As a result of the agency's report on the legal violations, the procurement commission's decision to determine a winner was annulled, thereby preventing the illegal state procurement," the statement noted.

The documents gathered during the investigation have been forwarded to law enforcement agencies for further legal action.

It should be noted that a previous investigation revealed that the Republic of Uzbekistan failed to comply with the requirements of the Laws on "State Procurements" and "On Competition" during tenders amounting to 120,000,000 sums conducted by "Nukus International Airport" LLC through the State Procurement Portal.
