Rumors have circulated on social networks suggesting that renowned Uzbek coach Temur Kapadze might take over as the head coach of Namangan’s "Navbahor" club next season.
Reports indicate that negotiations between "Navbahor" and Kapadze are nearing completion, and confirmation of his appointment may be forthcoming.
QALAMPIR.UZ reached out to Kapadze to verify these rumors.
"Time will tell what will happen. I can't say anything for sure. I am now in Moscow. Everything will become clear after I return to Uzbekistan," Kapadze responded.
Notably, Temur Kapadze previously served as the head coach of Uzbekistan's Olympic national team. Under his leadership, the team achieved a historic qualification for the Olympics for the first time.
