Temur Kapadze, the head coach of the Uzbekistan Olympic team, stated that the players' lack of experience and luck contributed to their performance at the Summer Olympic Games held in Paris. He made these comments on July 27 during an interview with the "Uzbekiston 24" TV channel.

"We had no intention of departing so early. Both in our first match and in today's game, we encountered a lack of luck and experience. We were eager to fully engage in the Olympic experience. Unfortunately, both games were within our grasp. We had the strength, but we made errors in several key moments. I apologize to our supporters and thank them for their unwavering support. We hope to repay their loyalty with future successes," said Temur Kapadze.

The Uzbekistan Olympic team, placed in Group C, lost to Spain (2:1) and Egypt (1:0), thereby failing to advance to the next stage of the tournament. Consequently, Temur Kapadze’s team, having lost both matches, remained in the group, rendering the match against the Dominican Republic a formality. Spain leads the group with 6 points, Egypt is in second place with 4 points, and the Dominican Republic holds third place with 1 point. Uzbekistan has yet to secure any points.

Previously, Temur Kapadze shared his insights before the match against Egypt in the second round of the group stage, acknowledging his awareness of Egypt's strengths and expressing his views on the defeat against Spain.
