Stipends to support vocational training for unemployed members of poor families

1340A new voucher system will be introduced to cover the costs of vocational training for members of poor families. This initiative is outlined in the Presidential Decree "On Measures to Ensure Employment and Reduce Poverty in 2025," adopted on January 17.
According to the decree:
- Starting February 1, 2025, scholarships will be provided to persons with disabilities, as well as to unemployed members of families registered as poor, who enroll in vocational training courses lasting more than three months.
- By May 1, 2025, a voucher system will be introduced to cover the costs of vocational training for unemployed individuals, including those from low-income families. The system will be piloted in Samarkand region and Tashkent city from February 1, 2025.
Additionally, the "First Step to a Prosperous Life," "Trust" projects, and the "Poverty Reduction through Enlightenment" program will be implemented in neighborhoods to foster greater work enthusiasm and initiative among members of poor families.
The decree also allocates subsidies to members of low-income families to support their contributions to the charter funds of agricultural cooperatives.
