Additional admission quotas for applicants from Karakalpakstan were approved

2019An additional 10,000 admission quotas have been approved for young people living in the Republic of Karakalpakstan for undergraduate education on a basic payment-contract basis. This was reported by the Knowledge and Skills Assessment Agency.
The admission quotas are allocated as follows:
- Distribution across higher education institutions and bachelor’s programs in the city of Tashkent;
- Distribution across higher education institutions and undergraduate programs within the Republic of Karakalpakstan;
- Distribution across higher education institutions and undergraduate programs in the regions.
These 10,000 additional quotas were allocated from applicants who scored 56.7 or higher in the entrance exams but were not initially recommended for admission. Young people from Karakalpakstan who are recommended for admission within the framework of these additional quotas can check their recommendation status through their personal office.
For reference, the Presidential Decree No. PF-213 dated August 31, 2022, stipulates the allocation of an additional quota for young people from Karakalpakstan.
