The Minister of Justice is appointed in Karakalpakstan

Elmurad Ergashovich Tursunov has been appointed as the Minister of Justice for the Republic of Karakalpakstan. This appointment was reported by UzA.

Prior to this, he served as the First Deputy Minister of Justice for the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

Elmurad Tursunov was born on December 5, 1983, in the Khojaly district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. He graduated from Karakalpak State University in 2006. He embarked on his career as an archivist at State Notary Office No. 1. From 2007 to 2012, he held positions as a Senior Consultant, Leading Consultant, and Chief Consultant in the Department of Entrepreneurs' Rights Protection within the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

Between 2012 and 2018, he served as the head of the Department of Public, Non-Governmental, Non-Commercial, and Religious Organizations at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Subsequently, from 2018 to 2019, he assumed the role of head of the Department of Control over the Activities of State Service Centers at the Administration of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, State Services Agency.
