Regional governor Ulugbek Kasimov attended the session and discussed the socio-economic development of Kyzyryk district, highlighting both the achievements and the shortcomings in the district’s progress.
Kasimov announced that Anvar Oripov, the former district mayor, had stepped down from his position at his own request. He then proposed appointing Sherkhon Yolliyevich Allamurodov as the new mayor of Kyzyryk district.
Sherkhon Allamurodov was born in 1986 in Jarkurgan district. He graduated from the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in 2011, specializing in law. Allamurodov holds the military rank of lieutenant colonel.
Throughout his career, he has served in various roles within the internal affairs bodies, including as the head of a department in the regional Internal Affairs Department and as the head of the Jarkurgan district Internal Affairs Department. Prior to this appointment, Allamurodov served as the head of the Kyzyryk district Internal Affairs Department since 2023.
It is worth noting that Anvar Homitovich Oripov was appointed mayor of Kyzyryk district in April of last year. His tenure ended with his voluntary resignation, paving the way for this leadership transition.
