Drivers who ran red lights in front of schools in Andijan and failed to yield to pedestrians were reprimanded in front of students and teachers during meetings held at those schools. Abdunabi Nosirov, head of the Road Traffic Safety Department of the Andijan regional police department, shared this at a press conference.

"We are working with all our might. If an accident occurs, we go to schools to discuss it. In this city, the principal of the 10th school in Chorguzar went online 2-3 times. I went there myself: we put up barricades on the road in front of the school and worked with the staff.

We experimented: I stationed an officer at the traffic light in front of the school. When a driver ran a red light, I took him to the general assembly of schoolchildren in the morning. I called all the children and said, 'Here is the driver who ran the red light last night, curse him,' and shared it with the teachers on social networks. I will take 2 to 3 of those who ran the red light and bring them to the school assembly in the morning. I will go without hesitation. This method has reduced the violations," said Abdunabi Nosirov.

He also mentioned that some Damas drivers, driven by the desire for money, drove in the opposite direction and even hit a few children.
