Fake Internal Affairs officer was detained in Kashkadarya

A person was detained in the Kashkadarya region who was wearing an Internal Affairs uniform and impersonating a senior lieutenant and embezzling citizens' money. The regional internal affairs department reported this.  

It was reported that an operational event was held by the Main Department of Personal Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Main Department of Kashkadarya region. During the event, a person was identified who was wearing the service uniform of the internal affairs bodies and introducing himself as an Internal Affairs Officer and embezzling citizens' money.  

This person deceived citizens and gained their trust using the title of senior lieutenant. In February of this year, he deceived citizens living in the Guzar and Kamashi districts and issued loans and other material assets worth 22 million sums in their names, 11 million sums each. Then, having obtained this money, he used it for his own needs.  

The man's identity was clarified and he was detained in a procedural manner. In the presence of witnesses, the IIO's clothes were taken from his house as material evidence.  

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against the "fake employee" under Part 3, Article 168 (Fraud) Clause "b" of the Criminal Code.  

We would like to remind you that earlier in Tashkent, two fake employees wearing the uniform of the Internal Affairs bodies were detained. During the inspection with witnesses, substances similar to strong drugs were found in front of these individuals, who had been convicted several times before, and were taken as evidence. The drugs found with these two citizens were submitted for examination, and documents were drawn up regarding the actions of the individuals, and a legal decision was made.
