Authorities respond to allegations against mahalla chairman in Kashkadarya

Reports have surfaced on social media alleging that a mahalla (neighborhood) chairperson in Kokdala district, Kashkadarya region, assaulted a woman. The Kokdala district administration has stated the incident.

According to the statement, on March 15, the chairperson of the “Zum” mahalla visited the home of their close relative, O.B. During the visit, a disagreement arose, leading to the chairperson physically assaulting O.B..

Previously, Dilfuza Urolova, the head of the Boyovut district in the Syrdarya region, was reported to have severely insulted a farmer and handed them over to law enforcement with their hands and feet tied. O‘rolova later expressed regret over the incident and explained the situation.
