A recent incident in the Kashkadarya region involved the torture of a wolf, as depicted in a video circulating on social media. The Department of Ecology in the region has issued an official response regarding this distressing event.

The incident occurred on December 11 in the Guzor district of Kashkadarya, where a wolf had attacked the livestock of a resident living in the "Yakkadarakht" neighborhood area. Subsequently, a group of individuals captured the wild animal, took it home, and tied it to a car.

As per the authorities, the perpetrators had intended to notify the relevant authorities about the incident the following day, but the wolf managed to escape on the evening of December 11.

The department refuted claims circulating on social media regarding the wolf's killing, asserting that the identities of those involved in the wolf's torture are under investigation. The department also emphasized that appropriate action will be taken against the culprits once the inquiry concludes.
