Individual accepting bribe to facilitate enrollment into third-year course was arrested in Kashkadarya

A person who promised to enroll an individual into the third year of a private educational institution in the city of Karshi, Kashkadarya region, has been arrested. This information was reported by the Department for Combating Economic Crimes.
It was noted that citizen G.Ch. was apprehended with incriminating evidence after receiving 1,500 USD from citizen N.O. in exchange for gaining N.O.'s trust, preparing falsified documents showing that N.O. had studied at a university in a neighboring Republic of Kazakhstan, enrolling him into the third year of a private educational institution in Karshi, and subsequently arranging his transfer to a state higher education institution.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 168 (Fraud) and Article 28, 211 (Bribery) of the Criminal Code, and investigations are ongoing.
We remind you that a similar incident occurred earlier in Almalyk, Tashkent region, where an individual was arrested for promising to facilitate enrollment into a legal institute in Kyrgyzstan based on a state grant.
