2.5-year-old girl passes away in a private kindergarten in Kashkadarya

A pupil of a private preschool educational institution has died in the Koson district of the Kashkadarya region. The incident was confirmed by Hayot Shamsutdinov, spokesperson for the Prosecutor General's Office.

According to the report, pre-investigation procedures are currently underway. A forensic medical examination has been ordered to determine the exact cause of death.

"The investigation will be conducted comprehensively, thoroughly, and impartially. A legal decision will be made based on the results," Shamsutdinov stated. "We express our deepest condolences and sympathies to the family of the deceased."

The incident occurred on June 20, 2025, at a private kindergarten. Reports indicate that the 2.5-year-old girl was in critical condition before her death.

It is worth recalling that on March 28, another tragic incident occurred when a child identified as Sh. Sh.., born in 2023, died from an electric shock due to the alleged negligence of a teacher at a preschool educational institution operated by individual entrepreneur X.O. in the Bukhara district of the Bukhara region.
