A 16-year-old boy committed suicide in Kashkadarya

On March 31, 2008, a 16-year-old boy was found dead by hanging in Kashkadarya. Hayot Shamsutdinov, the spokesperson for the General Prosecutor's Office, reported this to QALAMPIR.UZ.

The teenager, identified as R.F., used a rope to hang himself from a gas pipe in the kitchen of his residence in "Qavali" neighborhood. His death was confirmed upon discovery.

A forensic medical examination has been initiated to determine the exact cause of R.F.'s death.

Preliminary findings from the examination indicate that R.F. died due to mechanical asphyxiation from upper respiratory tract compression, with no additional injuries apart from strangulation marks on the neck.

On March 31, Z.N., the father of R.F., stated that his son's suicide appeared to have no discernible motive, and he denies any physical or psychological abuse towards his son. No grievances are held against anyone regarding his son's demise.

Earlier on March 27, a 28-year-old woman died by falling from the 5th floor of a building in the Bekobod district of Tashkent region.
