An 18-year-old boy died from electrocution in a swimming pool in the Karshi district of the Kashkadarya region, as reported by the program "Markaziy Studiya."
According to reports, the deceased, born in 2006, stepped on a phone charger while his body was wet. It is believed that this caused partial electrocution.
After the incident, the boy's relatives called emergency services. Upon arrival, doctors provided immediate medical care.
"There was an emergency call at 6:30 p.m. on the same day, and an ambulance arrived at the scene at 6:40 p.m. Our doctor performed CPR and provided artificial respiration. Despite these efforts, the patient's clinical death progressed to biological death. When the patient was brought to the Karshi District Medical Association, no signs of life were detected," said Ikrom Hayitov, a doctor at the Karshi District Medical Association.
It was noted that this swimming pool, located in the "Quyibeshkent" neighborhood, had only been in operation for two months.
A forensic examination has been ordered, and investigations are being conducted by officials from the Kashkadarya region's Internal Affairs Department. The swimming pool has been temporarily closed.
