“Kamchik” pass reopened to traffic

2668The "Kamchik" pass, which was temporarily closed to vehicle traffic on March 7 at 14:30, has been fully reopened as of March 8 at 03:00, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
The closure was due to adverse weather conditions, but thanks to coordinated efforts by the Ministry of Emergency Situations and relevant services, necessary safety measures were implemented, allowing the pass to reopen.
During the closure, approximately 1,000 stranded travelers were provided with temporary accommodations until conditions improved.
