Italy appoints Piergabriele Papadia de Bottini as ambassador to Uzbekistan

1213Piergabriele Papadia de Bottini has been appointed as the new Ambassador of Italy to Uzbekistan, replacing former Ambassador Agostino Pinna. The appointment was confirmed by Uzbekistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov.
“We congratulate Mr. Piergabriele Papadia de Bottini on his appointment as the Ambassador of Italy to Uzbekistan,” Saidov stated, emphasizing the Ministry's commitment to supporting the ambassador in his duties.
Following the presentation of his credentials, discussions were held regarding key areas for enhancing Uzbek-Italian strategic cooperation.
Piergabriele Papadia de Bottini, a 55-year-old seasoned diplomat, brings extensive experience to his new role. His appointment follows the departure of Agostino Pinna, who recently concluded his mission in Uzbekistan.
