8506A new governor has been appointed to the Pakhtaabad district in the Andijan region. Shoyatbek Babayev has assumed this position, as reported by the regional administration.
Today, on November 30, an extraordinary session of the Pakhtaabad District Council of People's Deputies was held with the participation of Andijan Region Governor Shukhratbek Abdurakhmanov. It was announced that Shoyatbek Babayev had been appointed as the governor of the Pakhtaabad district.
For reference, Shoyatbek Babayev was born in 1981 in the city of Khanabad, Andijan region. In 2011, he graduated from the Andijan Agricultural Institute, and in 2016, he completed his studies at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Throughout his professional journey, Babayev has held managerial positions in "Uz-koje," "Uzbekistan Railways," "Tashkent Mechanics Plant" joint-stock companies, the Khojaabad district administration, and three ministries.
Before assuming his current position, he served as the head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering (Equipment) and the Electrical Engineering Industry at the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
As a reminder, earlier this month, Nasibullo Muminov was appointed to the position of governor of the Asaka district in the Andijan region.
