Investigation was launched against head of Inbazar

An investigation has been initiated against Omadtillo Kholmatov, the head of the Inbazar shopping center. Shokhrukh Giyasov, spokesman for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, informed QALAMPIR.UZ about this.

It is important to note that the incidents depicted in the videos currently circulating on social media are not recent, and no previous complaints have been filed with the internal affairs authorities. The identities of the individuals shown in the videos are being verified, and an investigation is underway.

On September 14, an employee at the Inbazar shopping center branch in the Sergeli district of Tashkent was assaulted by another store representative. Following this incident, the head of the shopping center issued a video message stating that the perpetrator would be punished. The internal affairs authorities took action against the representative involved in the assault.

On September 15, videos surfaced on social media showing Inbazar manager Omadtillo Kholmatov physically attacking his employees and engaging in violence with others. In one video, Kholmatov is seen hitting and kicking an employee on the ground, while in another, he and two others are seen attacking another individual on the street. Kholmatov also recorded these incidents. Additionally, he made threats against his employees and expressed frustration about disturbances caused by dogs. The videos have led to a boycott of Inbazar and its products on social media.
