Earlier, we reported that an employee was assaulted by another representative of a store in the Inbazar shopping center located in the Sergeli district of Tashkent. The internal affairs authorities took action against the representative responsible for beating the employee.

Today, on September 15, videos surfaced on social networks showing Omadtillo Kholmatov, the head of Inbazar shopping center, either physically assaulting his employees or ordering others to do so. In one of the leaked videos, Kholmatov can be seen punching and kicking an employee on the ground. In another, he and two others attempt to attack a man on the street. Throughout the videos, Kholmatov can be heard insulting his employees, threatening them, and personally assaulting them. He even recorded these incidents on video, warning his staff that they would face further consequences if similar situations occurred in the future.

“If someone mistreats a customer, I will bring a person of the same age as the customer, and that person will beat him in front of the office, inside the office, and in front of everyone to humiliate him,” Kholmatov said in one of the videos circulated online.

Additionally, Kholmatov made remarks about being annoyed by dogs.

Following the release of these videos, social media users have called for a boycott of Inbazar and its products. In response, the "Friendship of Peoples" branch of the shopping center has suspended its operations.

For reference, intentionally disregarding social norms, assaulting others, and causing minor injuries are considered hooliganism, which carries criminal liability under Article 277 (Hooliganism) of the Criminal Code.

Furthermore, insulting the honor and dignity of others on the Internet, or any public platform, is punishable under Article 140 (Defamation) of the Criminal Code.
