A person who was given $5,000 to secure a job at HDIA has been arrested

Fraud cases involving bribery for employment and obtaining driver's licenses without proper training have been uncovered in Angren and Olmaliq cities, Tashkent region, as reported by the State Security Service.

In Angren, a resident born in 1974 was apprehended with tangible evidence after receiving $5,000 for arranging employment in the General Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Tashkent region through connections in law enforcement.

In a separate incident, the deputy director of a private driving school in Olmaliq was caught accepting $3,000 to issue a driver's license to a local resident without fulfilling training requirements. It's noted that the deputy director had previous convictions for robbery and hooliganism.

"Criminal cases have been initiated against both offenders under Article 168, Part 2, Clause "a" and Article 28,211, Part 1 of the Criminal Code," stated the report.

This incident serves as a reminder of a previous fraud case uncovered in the Kashkadarya region involving fraudulent admission to educational institutions.
