Gulomjon Abdullaev secures bronze medal at the Olympics

Gulomjon Abdullaev of Uzbekistan secured a bronze medal after competing against Bekzat Almaz Uluu of Kyrgyzstan in the 57 kg weight category during the freestyle wrestling matches at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Abdullaev emerged victorious, earning the Olympic bronze medal.

This victory brings the total medal count for the Uzbekistan delegation at the tournament to six, including three gold and three bronze medals.

Earlier, Razambek Jamalov of Uzbekistan competed in the semi-final of the freestyle wrestling competition in the 74 kg weight category against Viktor Rassadin of Tajikistan. Jamalov triumphed with a score of 8:2, advancing to the finals.

Additionally, today, boxers Lazizbek Mullojonov and Asadkhuja Muydinkhujaev will compete in their respective final bouts.
