During the "Dolzarb 40 kun" (Urgent 40 days) crime prevention campaign across Uzbekistan, numerous representatives of the criminal world have been arrested. Rumors circulated among social networks and individuals suggesting that Gofur Rahimov, the vice-president of the professional boxing federation of Uzbekistan and a member of the Supreme Council of the World Boxing Council (WBC), was wanted.

Despite claims on social media that Rahimov has left Uzbekistan and is being sought, a source from QALAMPIR.UZ within law enforcement agencies denies this.

Contrary to these rumors, videos depicting Gafur Rahimov living peacefully in Tashkent with his family are circulating on social media.

Two videos show Rahimov shopping in the "Oloy" and "Chorsu" markets in Tashkent, while another shows him having coffee with his wife at a restaurant.

Gafur Rahimov, 72, has been listed as the head of a criminal group according to Wikipedia.

In 2012, the US Federal Bureau of Investigation took interest in Rahimov's business dealings and considered him one of the leaders of the "Circle of Brothers" criminal group, comprising individuals from the former Soviet Union.

The official website of the US Treasury Department mentions Rahimov's alleged involvement in criminal activities.

It's worth noting that among those arrested until today were Salim Abduvaliyev, the deputy chairman of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, as well as Saidaziz Saidaglamovich Saidaliyev, known as "Saidaziz medgorodok", Bakhtiyor Gudratullayev, known as "Bakhti Tashkentsky", and "Buzruk" Buzrukov, along with Abbaskhan Khojayev, previously convicted and purportedly known as the "criminal authority" of Tashkent.
