French ambassador to Uzbekistan concludes her mission

The extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of France to Uzbekistan, Aurélia Bouchez, is concluding her mission in Tashkent. She was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Baxtiyor Saidov, on August 12. The minister mentioned the meeting on his social media page.
“In recent years, Uzbekistan and France have demonstrated unprecedented dynamics in bilateral relations, with both countries reaching historic milestones and becoming strategic partners. We deeply appreciate Madam Ambassador’s lasting contribution to the expansion of our relations and wish her every success in her new role,” said Saidov.
Aurélia Bouchez was born on January 20, 1960. Having graduated from the Paris Institute of Political Studies and the École Nationale d’Administration (ENA), Ms. Bouchez began her career as an administrator in the Paris Mayor’s Office (1984–1989). She later worked at the Directorate for Europe under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1989–1993). She has served as France’s ambassador to Azerbaijan, as well as the EU’s ambassador to Kazakhstan, before being appointed ambassador to Uzbekistan in October 2021.
Earlier, the ambassador of Ukraine, Mykola Doroshenko, also announced the conclusion of his mission to Uzbekistan.
