Fico concludes his official visit to Uzbekistan

5371On June 10, the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, Robert Fico, concluded his official visit to Uzbekistan, according to a report by UzA.
He was seen off at Tashkent International Airport by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, along with other high-ranking officials.
Robert Fico arrived in Uzbekistan on the evening of June 8. Upon arrival, he was welcomed at the airport by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and members of the Uzbek government. On June 9, Fico visited the "New Uzbekistan" park, where he laid flowers at the foot of the Independence Monument. The Slovak delegation, led by Fico, was given detailed information about the park’s architectural features and symbolic elements.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Jamshid Khojaev. An official welcoming ceremony took place at the Kuksaroy residence in honor of the visiting leader.
During his stay, Robert Fico also took part in the IV Tashkent International Investment Forum, highlighting Slovakia's interest in deepening economic cooperation with Uzbekistan.
