FIFA President Gianni Infantino will visit Tashkent at the invitation of the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) to attend the final match of the CAFA Nations Cup 2025, the UFA press service reported.
According to the report, Infantino and the UFA will discuss projects aimed at further developing football in Uzbekistan. In addition, the FIFA President will familiarize himself with the National Football Center and watch the CAFA Nations Cup 2025 final match at the stadium.
The final match will take place on September 8 of this year at the “Olympia” stadium in Tashkent, where the national teams of Uzbekistan and Iran will face each other. The game is scheduled to kick off at 19:30.
It is worth noting that on September 5, Uzbekistan defeated Kyrgyzstan 4:0 to secure a place in the final.
