Farmer was appointed mayor of Muzrabot district

Alisher Kurbanovich Kurbanov has been appointed as the mayor of Muzrabot district in the Surkhandarya region, according to the regional government's press service.

An extraordinary session of the Council of People's Deputies of Muzrabot district was held to formalize the appointment.

During the session, the head of the region announced that Abdurashid Ismailov, who previously held the position of district governor, had been released from his duties due to a transfer to another job. The head of the region then proposed Alisher Kurbanovich Kurbanov as the new governor of Muzrabot district, and the deputies unanimously approved the candidate.

For reference, Alisher Kurbanov was born in 1973 in Muzrabot district. He graduated from the Tashkent Agricultural Institute in 1995 and the Tashkent State Legal Institute in 2005, specializing in economics and law.

Throughout his career, Kurbanov held various positions within internal affairs bodies and the private sector. Before his appointment as governor, he served as the head of the "Amirqulbobo KAA" farm.

As a reminder, Bobur Yuldoshovich Abubakirov was recently appointed as the mayor of the Shaykhontohur district in Tashkent city.
