Mayor of the Muzrabot district dismissed

12582Alisher Kurbanov, who had been serving as the mayor of Muzrabot district in the Surkhandarya region since September last year, has been dismissed from his position. His role has now been assigned to Abdulla Mamatkulov, the former director of Surkhandarya Water Supply JSC. This was reported by the regional khokimiyat's press service.
On May 23, an extraordinary session of the Muzrabot district Council of People's Deputies was convened. The session was attended by the mayor of Surkhandarya region, Ulugbek Kasimov, who discussed the current state of socio-economic development in Muzrabot and highlighted ongoing issues and areas needing improvement.
At the session, it was officially announced that Alisher Kurbanov was relieved of his duties. Ulugbek Kasimov proposed Abdulla Abdumuminovich Mamatkulov as a candidate for the position, and the deputies of the district Council approved his appointment.
Abdulla Mamatkulov was born in 1985 in Altynsay district. He graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry in 2011 with a degree in mechanical engineering. Over the course of his career, he has held several key positions, including Deputy Director of Surkhandarya Water Supply LLC, Deputy Mayor of Bandikhon district, and Director of Surkhandaryasuvqurilishinvest State Enterprise. Most recently, he was serving as the Director of Surkhandarya Water Supply JSC.
