Legionnaires such as Abbosbek Fayzullayev, Abduqodir Husanov, Hojimat Erkinov, Umarali Rahmonaliyev, and Ibrohimhalil Yoldoshev, members of the Uzbekistan Olympic national team, are likely to participate in the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris this summer. This information was shared by the head coach of the Uzbekistan Olympic team, Temur Kapadze, with QALAMPIR.UZ.

"I hope that recruiting the legionnaires for the team won't pose any problems, considering that the club season will be over. We are also closely monitoring the players' form leading up to the Olympics. We plan to engage in friendly matches during FIFA days. Additionally, as the Olympics draw nearer, we will organize a training camp and participate in preparatory games," Kapadze stated.

For reference, the Olympic Games opening ceremony is scheduled for July 26, with football matches commencing earlier. Kapadze's team will kick off their campaign against Spain on July 24.

It was previously reported that Eldor Shomurodov, a member of the Uzbekistan national team and the Italian club "Cagliari," may also participate in the Olympics.
