Gas station fire in Fergana claims one life, injures four

Today, December 17, at 13:43, an explosion occurred at a gas station in the city of Fergana, Fergana region, resulting in the death of one civilian. This was reported by the regional Emergency Situations Department.

According to the report, the explosion was caused by a violation of technological processes and non-compliance with technical safety rules during the discharge of liquefied gas at a multi-fuel "AYOQSH" and "AGQSH" station located on Ahmad Yassaviy Street in the "Yangi Yo'l" neighborhood. A flash occurred, leading to a fire.

Firefighters arrived at the scene at 13:47 and began fighting the flames. The fire was contained by 14:02 and completely extinguished at 14:12.

As a result of the fire, one citizen lost their life, and four others sustained injuries. In addition, eight individuals are currently under medical supervision for possible health concerns.
