Criminal authority “Polozhenets” was captured in Fergana

An individual attempting to establish himself under the alias "Polozhenets" was apprehended during swift operations in the Fergana region, according to the Regional Department of Internal Affairs.

Reports indicate that the individual, born in 1990, resides at 14 Navroz Street, "Baland Masjid" neighborhood, Qoshtepa District, Fergana Region. He has a prior conviction under Article 166 (Robbery), part 2 of the former Criminal Code.

It has been reported that he is seeking to attain the status of "Polozhenets" in the Margilan area.
 
Investigations revealed that between 2022 and 2023, he associated with criminal figures Bakhtiyor Qudratullayev, known as "Bakhti Tashkentsky," and Salim Abduvaliyev, known as "Salimboyvachcha," in an attempt to gain notoriety in the criminal world. He was apprehended in the Kirguli region of Fergana city during a swift operation. A criminal case was launched against him under Article 168 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code, Part 2, Paragraphs "a" and "b", Article 28, and Article 211, Part 1, and he was subsequently detained as a precautionary measure. The preliminary investigation is ongoing. 

"Attention citizens! If you have been victimized by this individual, please report it to the nearest internal affairs authorities or call the short number 102,” the report stated. 

For context, during the ongoing "cleansing" operations in Uzbekistan in December 2023, street figures like "Salimboyvachcha," "Bakhti Tashkentsky," and "Saidaziz medgorodok" were detained as a precaution. On June 11 of this year, the trial of Saidaziz Saidaliyev, known as "Saidaziz medgorodok," along with 28 others, commenced.

Additionally, at the end of May, the trial of Bakhtiyor Qudratullayev, known as "Bakhti Tashkentsky," began, with 10 charges filed against him. His brother and sons also face legal proceedings. During the final court session on June 3, the prosecutor presented the concluding remarks on the charges against "Bakhti Tashkentsky" and 36 others accused of collaborating in criminal activities.
