A Worker Digging a Trench in Ferghana Fell Under the Soil

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on an accident that occured in Fergana when a worker who was digging a trench became buried beneath a pile of soil.
This situation happened at 11:50 a.m. in the “Yukori Soyboyi” neighborhood of Yozyovon district. The man was rescued from the soil in a matter of minutes.
Consequently, the victim was an employee of a subcontractor organization and had disregarded the safety rules while in the process of digging the trench. According to doctors, the man sustained injuries, but they are not life threatening.
