In Fergana and Jizzakh regions, coal allocated for preferential delivery to the population was reportedly misappropriated. This information was disclosed by the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office.

According to reports, an investigation conducted by the Rishton district department found that M.I., the head of Altiariq coal warehouse at 'Komir Taminot' LLC, colluded with S.E., a public representative attached to the coal warehouse from Rishton district, and others. They sold 2,578 tons of coal, valued at 774.1 million soums, intended for distribution to district residents at preferential prices during the autumn-winter season. This coal was sold to other individuals at market prices through the issuance of false documents.

Additionally, a pre-investigation conducted by the Mirzachol district department revealed that individuals responsible for the 'Dostlik' coal warehouse of ‘Komir Taminot ' LLC, among others, falsified documents related to the sale of 351 tons of coal intended for the population at preferential rates.

The department stated, 'Criminal cases have been initiated under Article 167 of the Criminal Code (embezzlement or robbery) and Article 228 (preparation, forgery, sale, or use of documents, stamps, seals, blanks), and investigations are ongoing regarding these incidents.’
