Significant Drug Seizure in Ferghana: Over 3,500 Psychotropic Drugs Intercepted

Ferghana, Uzbekistan - A significant breakthrough has been achieved in the fight against illegal drug sales, as authorities in Ferghana successfully intercepted a substantial quantity of potent drugs.  The Press Service of the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office released an official report detailing the operation.

According to the report, individuals involved in the illegal sale of powerful drugs were apprehended in Ferghana.  One of the individuals, identified as R.S., a resident of the Margilan city, was found to have sold 588 drugs containing psychotropic substances to citizens A.A. for a sum of 2,950 US dollars.  Similarly, in another transaction, citizen M.M. was caught selling 3,348 potent drugs to M.A. for 6.1 million soms.  In both cases, the perpetrators were apprehended with substantial physical evidence.

Furthermore, the department's Baghdad district office promptly intervened and seized 130 drugs containing powerful substances during a transfer.  The individuals involved in this incident were identified as Sh. Yu., the head of a pharmacy belonging to the private enterprise "Sh.I." The physical evidence collected during the operation strengthens the case against those responsible. 

In response to these alarming incidents, criminal cases have been initiated under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code.  Law enforcement agencies are committed to conducting thorough investigations and ensuring the prosecution of the culprits, holding them accountable for their actions.
