Now the Uzbek language can be taught in the UAE

4940The Uzbek language may now be introduced as part of educational programs in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), according to a report by "Dunyo" news agency.
It is reported that Kamal Ikramov, the Consul General of Uzbekistan, held discussions with Anvar Golam Muhammad Abdullah, a representative of the UAE Ministry of Culture in Dubai.
During the conversation, they explored the possibility of establishing Uzbek cultural centers in the UAE, organizing collaborative cultural events, and enhancing the global recognition of the Uzbek language.
They also deliberated on the potential establishment of Uzbek language departments within prominent libraries and educational institutions in the UAE, as well as the initiation of a project to teach Uzbek language in the future.
The Consulate General agreed to provide Uzbek language literature and instructional materials to enhance the academic resources of scientific centers, universities, and major libraries in the UAE, as stated in the report.
