Eldor Shomurodov, the captain of Uzbekistan's national football team and a member of the Italian club "Cagliari," might miss the upcoming Asian Cup in January due to a recent injury, as reported by the "Cagliari" press service.
Reportedly, Shomurodov sustained a severe leg injury during training, requiring 1-1.5 months for recovery. He fractured his ankle bone, which led to his absence from the club's match against "Napoli."
During this season, Shomurodov participated in 13 matches for Cagliari and contributed with 2 assists. His transfer rights belong to the Rome-based club "Roma." At the season's conclusion, the Uzbek player will return to the ranks of the Wolves.
