World Happiness Index 2025: Uzbekistan among the happiest nations

Uzbekistan has secured the 53rd position in the “World Happiness Report 2025,” an annual ranking prepared by a team of experts under the United Nations initiative.
According to the report, Finland has been named the happiest country in the world for the eighth consecutive year. Denmark and Iceland also made it into the top three. Among Uzbekistan's neighboring countries, Kazakhstan ranked 43rd, Kyrgyzstan 75th, and Tajikistan 90th, while Afghanistan came last at 147th. Turkmenistan was not included in the ranking.
The report evaluates happiness based on six key factors: income, health, social support, freedom, generosity, and the absence of corruption.
Previously, Uzbekistan's passport was ranked 68th in the global list of the world’s most powerful passports.
