German judo team welcomes olympic champion Diyora Keldiyorova's coach

Marko Shpitka, who has long served as the coach of Olympic judo champion Diyora Keldiyorova, has begun working with the German national judo team participating in the "Grand Slam" tournament currently taking place in Tashkent. This information was reported by QALAMPIR.UZ.

According to sources, the "Grand Slam" judo tournament in Tashkent started on February 28. Marko Shpitka, who guided Uzbek judoka Diyora Keldiyorova to win a gold medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, is now serving as the coach of the German national team in this competition.

Additionally, Ilias Iliadis, who served as the coach of the Uzbekistan men's national judo team, has been relieved of his coaching duties.

Previously, it was reported that UFC champion Islam Makhachev came to support his teammate Karim Abdullaev at the judo tournament in Tashkent.
