Lieutenant Diyora Keldiyorova of the Ministry of Defense, who won the women's judo competition in the -52 kg weight category at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France, and became an Olympic champion, was awarded a new military title ahead of schedule. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.

Keldiyorova, an athlete at the Center for the Development of Higher Sports Results, was also awarded the "Tumaris" badge.

Simultaneously, Junior Sergeant Ulugbek Rashitov, the first two-time Olympic gold medalist in the history of Uzbekistan in taekwondo in the -68 kg weight category, and also an athlete of the Center for the Development of Higher Sports Results of the Ministry of Defense, was promoted to the rank of lieutenant.

Junior Sergeant Svetlana Osipova, who won the silver medal in women's taekwondo, was also promoted to the rank of lieutenant and awarded the "Tumaris" badge.

Additionally, for his contribution and cooperation in preparing for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games, Officer Han Pavel, a trainer at the Center for the Development of Higher Sports Results in the Armed Forces, was awarded a two-room apartment.

Private Sitora Turdibekova, an athlete in the Sports Department of the Center for the Development of Higher Sports Results of the Ministry of Defense, was awarded the "Tumaris" badge for her courage and bravery in the women's boxing competitions in the 57 kg weight category.

Tolqin Kilichev, the head coach of the Boxing Federation, Elshod Rasulov, the head coach of women's boxing, and Akmal Khasanov, a trainer at the Center for the Development of Higher Sports Results and an Armed Forces officer, were awarded the "Qualified Teacher" badge by the Minister of Defense.

Additionally, the military ranks of boxers Bahadir Jalolov and Hasanboy Dosmatov were also raised ahead of schedule. Lieutenant Abdumalik Khalokov and Lieutenant Lazizbek Mullojonov, who won gold medals at the Olympic Games, were promoted to the rank of senior lieutenant ahead of schedule.

It is worth noting that after boxer Israil Madrimov won the World Boxing Association (WBA) championship belt by technically knocking out Russian boxer Magomed Kurbanov during a professional boxing event in Riyadh in March, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Polat Bobojonov, awarded him the military title of major ahead of schedule.
