Diyora Keldiyorova contends for “Best Female Judoka of the Year”

Uzbek judoka Diyora Keldiyorova, who is the reigning champion of the Paris 2024 Olympics, has been named a finalist for the title of "Best Female Judoka of the Year". The announcement was made by the press service of the International Judo Federation (IJF).
Alongside Keldiyorova, Canadian Krista Deguchi and Brazilian Beatriz Souza are also in the running for the prestigious award. These three athletes received the most votes in a poll conducted on the IJF website.
It’s worth noting that all three finalists claimed victory at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The winner of the award will be revealed at the Grand Slam tournament in Paris, scheduled for February 1-2.
